About US:
Uganda National Meteorological Authority (formerly Department of Meteorology) under Ministry of Water and Environment is a semi-autonomous government authority for weather and climate services (UNMA Act. 2012) and a focal institution to Inter-Governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), an international body mandated to carryout scientific research on climate change.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintains the subsidiary accounts
In charge of preparing and filing payments as required
Actively participates in verifying financial documents and payments
Supports in preparing estimates for expenditure
Renders support in preparing bank reconciliation statements
Participates in preparing final accounts

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate should preferably hold an Honors Bachelor’s degree with a bias in Accounting option obtained from a recognized awarding Institution OR Full professional qualification in Accountancy obtained from a recognizes awarding Institution accredited by the Institute of certified Public Accountants of Uganda (ICPAU)
Past experience in a related field from a reputable organization is an advantage.
