They would like to recruit for a valuable client, an Audit Firm.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· In charge of reconciling finance accounts
· Maintaining spreadsheets
· In charge of credit control.
· Preparing statutory accounts
· Responsible for the cash allocation
· Sales order processing
· Managing daily post in and out
· Handling and writing cheques
· In charge of receiving and processing all invoices, expense forms and requests for payment.
· Verifying calculations working with the Accounts system
· Reconciliation of Direct Debit mandates
· Managing petty cash transactions
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy should hold a B Com, BBA, CPA or ACCA.
· A minimum of four years of related accounting experience
· Familiarity of the workings of an office.
· Basic understanding of accountancy and book-keeping
· Excellent interpersonal skills – to deal with customers and external contacts
· Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to, and sometime implement own processes
· Good numerical ability
· Ability to work independently under tight timelines
