Job Summary: The NTV Agency Account Manager will develop, maintain and increase a solid client base by selling advertising airtime, commercial productions and providing a holistic client service relations plan in order to optimize advertising budgets and achieve set revenue targets to clients so as to maximize broadcasting sales volumes and revenue targets.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
Manage and develop assigned major agency accounts
Grow clients spend/advertising sales and manage their debt portfolio
Gather market intelligence and exploit such information to develop advertising solutions.
Develop and implement the annual strategic sales plan with the section head
Maintain good client relationship management with the agency accounts
Compile and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly sales and revenue projections to immediate supervisor
Present to the agency/client on a monthly/quarterly basis on new innovations/offerings at the station
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
All applicants should possess a Basic University degree
Two or more years’ working experience (prior experience in the media industry will be an added advantage)
Past experience in broadcast/digital sales
Process a creative mind and be able to think outside the box
Working knowledge of marketing communications mix and research fundamentals is mandatory
The applicant should also possess Media buying skills
Good relationship skills
Influencing and persuasion skills
Excellent communication skills
Possess excellent persuasion skills
Possess detailed knowledge and understanding of the media industry in Uganda
