Job Summary: The Branch Manager will oversee all the overall Operations, Internal Controls and Business growth of the PostBank Branch.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· In charge of promoting the marketing and sales of bank products and services.
· Ensuring a high level of customer service at the branch.
· Ensure the timely implementation of new products and services.
· In charge of promotion of good public relations and image of the Bank.
· Proper maintenance of bank books in accordance with accounting systems and procedures in place.
· Advising, guiding, motivating and directing all branch staff to promote discipline, productivity and accountability.
· Manage and supervise the branch by ensuring proper guidance, leadership and staff accountability through proper planning, co-ordinating, supervising and overseeing all branch operations.
· The incumbent will lead the sales campaign for the branch and spearhead new product marketing and sales at the branch.
· Build and maintain working relationships with top customers and ensure that services delivered meet client expectations.
· Coordinate production of the monthly and annual performance work plans and targets for all subordinate staff and monitor their implementation.
· Actively monitor performance of branch staff regularly by carrying out periodic appraisals and make recommendations for training, promotion, transfer etc.
· In charge of developing and maintaining effective and efficient communication and information systems including holding of regular branch meetings.
· Regularly assess the workload of branch staff and identify operational areas that may require manpower reinforcement.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of Business Growth.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate for the PostBank Branch Manager placement should hold a Bachelor’s degree from a reputable University
· A minimum of three years’ experience in a supervisory role in a financial Institution.
· Good interpersonal and networking skills.
· Excellent report writing skills.
· Be a good team leader/ player.
· Aggressive marketer.
· Working knowledge of the bank’s operations, credit policies and procedures
