Credit Analyst – ECLOF – Kampala

About US:

Uganda Ecumenical Church Loan Fund (ECLOF) Ltd is a fast growing institution, an affiliate of ECLOF International based in Geneva, Switzerland and a member of the Association of Microfinance Institutions in Uganda (AMFIU) and is a Christian based microfinance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Performs branch spot checks and monitoring to ensure compliance to ECLOF policies.
  • Regularly analyses branch operations to ensure attainment of productivity and efficient
  • Documents and carries out financial analysis of MSME, Institutional clients, group clients, individual clients and recommends for possible funding.
  • Actively monitors and supervises ECLOF branches on a day to day basis.
  • Responsible for the management and supervision of operations staff in all the branches

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The candidate should hold a university degree in Economics, Accounting or Business Administration, management and prolonged experience in credit and/with preferably deposit operations. Possession of an MBA or Post graduate in financial management will be an added advantage.
  • Two to three years working experience in middle management in credit or finance department at supervision level in financial institutions, e.g Banks, MFIs, Credit Institutions and MDIs.
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of micro finance industry and technology.
  • Computer literacy skills i.e.  proficient in Microsoft applications and various software applications in rating and financial analysis.
