Finance and Administration Manager – Kampala – Uganda Teachers’ SACCOs Union

About US:
Uganda Teachers’ SACCOs Union was formed and registered under the Uganda Cooperative Societies Act Cap 112, as the national organization for all Teachers SACCOs in Uganda.

Job Summary: The Finance and Administration Manager will be responsible for the finance and administrative functions of the organization. This involves accounting, financial reporting, work plans, budget preparation and control, assets management, procurement, and general administration. The incumbent also ensures that financial practices and procedures are in line with all statutory legislation and regulations.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant must hold a degree in Finance, Accounting or Audit is an added advantage. The jobholder should be a member of a professional accounting body.
A minimum of five years of related work experience in a busy business organization.
Previous experience in working with Government funded programs is added advantage.
Previous experience with SACCOs or member based organizations is an added advantage.
