Our client in the FMCG sector seeks to recruit a suitably qualified and competent individual to fill the vacancy above. This position is based in Jinja.

POSITION OBJECTIVE
The Finance Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, organizing and controlling the Plant’s business operations and capital resources.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Managing the company’s financial Accounting systems
Monitoring and interpreting cash flows and productivity future trends
Costing, risk analysis and budgeting
Managing audits and compliance
Managing staff within the finance department to ensure maximum output.
Competitor analysis through analyzing market trends.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Team building. Ability to build, lead and motivate teams
Technology skills i.e. proficiency in MS Office
Planning and Organizing skills – work hand in hand with Plant Manager (Tannery) in planning activities of the Plant.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management
Professional qualification i.e. CPA or ACCA
At least three years progressive experience in similar role
