Job Summary: The Finance Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all accounting functions in the Finance Department. The incumbent will also be safeguarding organizational assets and fiscal record keeping. The job holder will be tasked with the preparation and submission of reports for Senior Management, the board of directors, external users. The job holder also monitors department policies and procedures and recommends improvements. She / he will also ensure that accounting activities are in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, legal, regulatory, and organization procedures. The incumbent ensures that the Finance Department supports the overall goals of the organization and that finance services are delivered professionally and efficiently.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· In charge of providing and interpreting financial information;
· Responsible for the monitoring and interpreting cash flows and predicting future trends;
· In charge of analysing change and advising accordingly;
· Responsible for formulating strategic and long-term business plans;
· In charge of researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance;
· In charge of analysing competitors and market trends;
· Developing financial management mechanisms that minimise financial risk;
· Carrying out reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities;
· Responsible for managing a company’s financial accounting, monitoring and reporting systems;
· Working closely with auditors to ensure annual monitoring is carried out;
· Build and strengthen external relationships with appropriate contacts, e.g. auditors, solicitors, bankers and statutory organisations such as the Inland Revenue;
· Preparing and submitting accurate financial reports to specific deadlines;
· Managing budgets;
· Arranging new sources of finance for a company’s debt facilities;
· Mentoring and supervising staff;
· Staying abreast with changes in financial regulations and legislation.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate should preferably hold a bachelor’s degree in B. COM, or BBA.
· Professional accounting qualifications i.e. ACCA, CPA
· A minimum of six years of continuous work experience as a Finance Manager
