RECO Industries Limited is implementing USAID/Uganda’s Production for Improved Nutrition project. The project works to reduce the burden of under nutrition by providing Ready to Use Therapeutic and supplementary Foods to pregnant women, breast feeding mothers and People Living with HIV/AIDS in Uganda.
Job Summary: The Human Resources and Administration Officer will support the USAID Project through implementing, maintaining and monitoring administrative and human resources management plans, policies, procedures, systems and structures in line with company policies and framework.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Appraise, support and maintain a competent and motivated team through giving constructive criticism, coaching and mentoring.
· Manage and ensure maximum security of staff and project assets by periodically carrying out an assessment of the integrity and condition of the assets and make the necessary recommendations.
· Coordinate and steer the maintenance of the project assets in line with the Company policy.
· Manage the implementation of operational procedures for travel and transport within the project by providing administrative and logistical support to staff and visitors.
· The incumbent will develop and maintain staff leave plan in line with departmental objectives.
· Implement the project recruitment and selection processes in line with the company policies and procedures
· Maintain an update comprehensive filing systems for the project human resources information.
· Develop and implement staff learning and development programmes in line with the projects objectives.
· Develop and implement a welfare scheme and staff benefits in line with Company policies.
· Prepare and manage the Project payroll and advise the Finance department on any changes prior to paying of project staff.

Job Summary: The Group Management Accountant will be in charge of preparing, developing and analyzing key financial information to ensure that the organization’s management makes well- informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth and profitability. The information prepared shall be timely, accurate and informative to decisions that add value to the shareholders’ interests. He/she will provide a high quality support service by liaising with management colleagues on all aspects that affect the company’s financial standing. The role has a future focus and shall involve analysis and comparison of the performance of a business, provide explanation to the performance and seek future focus from the line managers with regard to protecting the shareholders’ interests. Other responsibilities shall involve proposing alternatives to prevent problems adapt to changing circumstances and improve value. In implementation of the agreed solutions, the Management Accountant shall be involved by managing and reducing operational and production costs and helping managers through implementing newer, more effective strategies and monitoring of budgets.

· The Group Management Accountant will also prepare monthly financial reports for each individual company and consolidated by the 15th of the following month and should contain the following;

o Reasons for Performance on each material Financial Statement Line

· Prepare Quarterly Financial Reports for Board by the 20th of the month following the end of the Calendar Quarter for each individual company and consolidated
· The incumbent will also be providing a support service by working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions
· Ensure that spending is kept in line with the budget
· Guiding management of the financial implications and consequences of business decisions
· Analyzing financial performance and contributing to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts.
· Working closely with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context
· Responsible for monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed
· Prepare weekly/monthly finished goods costing for group companies and provide highlights on any exceptions arising from those costing and their impact on product pricing.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicant should preferably hold a good bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Finance Discipline or Economics
· The Group Management Accountant must be a fully qualified accountant (ACCA or CPA) and/ or a Qualified Chartered Management Accountant, preferably CIMA
· At least two years’ experience in a similar position, preferably in a manufacturing setting with multi-distribution points and multination entities.
· Prior experience in ERP environment, preferable.
