Job Summary: The Internal Auditor will be responsible for ensuring sound financial monitoring by planning and executing both scheduled and ad hoc audit assignments including donor compliance, internal control assessments and fraud investigations. The Internal Auditor will ensure that appropriate financial and systems controls are in place and in line with Concern Worldwide as well as applicable donor procedures and policies. This contributes to a systematic and disciplined approach to risk management, controls and governance processes within Concern and partners

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicant should be Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CPA)
· A minimum of three years of post-qualification experience working in an audit function.
· Prior exposure and working knowledge of Donors (E.g. EU, USAID, ECHO, UN) financial policies and procedures
· Broad knowledge and understanding of the principles and application of good corporate governance, business and operational risk and control processes and procedures
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Excellent report writing, communication and presentation skills
· Cross cultural awareness and sensitivity
· Computer literacy i.e. Proficient in Microsoft office applications.
