Job Summary: The Lead Internal Auditor will ensure execution of independent appraisal of the effectiveness of the policies, procedures and standards by which the company’s financial, physical and information resources are managed efficiently and effectively.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Ensure independent analysis of the effectiveness of the company’s financial, physical and information resources
· Conduct assigned audit tasks monthly as per the drawn plan on an annual basis.
· Conduct scheduled and special audits timely and make recommendations for improvement.
· Ensure proper coordination of assigned duties and timely completion of scheduled audits
· In charge of the periodic and timely submission of reports to management as per the requirement.
· Give proper supervision, guidance, training and development and support of all staff.
· Routine spot checks and periodical stock taking and verification of physical stock of equipment; materials and products
· Maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
· Follow standard and professional practices of the Institute of Internal Auditors.
· Routinely utilize audit procedures while reviewing transactions, documents, records, expenses and policies for accuracy and meeting set deadlines
· Keenly analyze the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicant should preferably hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any other related field. Possession of Post Graduate Diploma or Master’s Degree in Business Administration will give an added advantage.
· Working knowledge of computerised accounting and auditing record keeping systems
· A minimum of three years’ experience in an FMCG environment in a senior management position.
· Excellent professional, integrity, confidentiality, analytical, conceptual, creativity, innovative, numerical, report writing, communication and customer care skills.
· Good positive attitude, be self-driven, flexible, results focused, work under pressure with minimum supervision and can work extra hours.
