Management Accountant – Kampala Hospital

Kampala Hospital is a privately owned hospital that was established in 2007. Our mandate was and is to bring non-existent services to the countries that were often sought by many people who frequently moved abroad to seek quality medical care.

Job Summary: The Management Accountant will assist the Finance Manager to ensure integrity of financial systems and information, whilst ensuring compliance with all regulatory, statutory and internal control procedural requirements. The incumbent will provide support in budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis support, and also assist with the preparation of key deliverables including the annual budgeting, operating and capital expenditure, the long term financial strategy, quarterly reports, annual reports and performance monitoring.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
In charge of Management Accounting
Cash Cycle Planning and Management
Budgeting & Planning
Project & Cost Accounting
Reporting
Support systems implementation and monitoring
Monitor all accountabilities and extent of authority

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate should hold a tertiary qualification in Commerce or Business related course majoring in accounting
A minimum of five years’ experience in a commercial organization.
Demonstrate knowledge on use of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) applications
Certified Public Accountant, (CPA)
Demonstrate experience in a Management Accounting role.
Knowledge and experience in internal and management audits.
