Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Work as tax advisors and professionals in handling taxation matters,
Answer to customer questions about tax issues,
Regularly respond to customer inquiries about their tax problems
Provide tax saving recommendation to management,
Organize tax works for tax professionals
Keenly review, all tax documents, reports and statements
Collaborate with all tax department staff
Establish and maintain good relationships with customers,
Ensure compliance with company rules, policies and regulations
Ensure compliance with tax professional standards and ethics in tax assistant functions
Manage the tax database.
Perform any other required tasks
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should hold a B Com, BBA, CPA or ACCA
Possession of a post graduate diploma in taxation and revenue administration
A minimum of five years of related work experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Proven ability to compute figures rapidly and accurately
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret financial data
Highly organized and good planner
Efficient in time management
Able to work under pressure
Ability to meet deadlines
Maintain office ethics and confidentiality
Stress management
Good telephone etiquette
Capacity of analysis and synthesis
Good computer skills
Team worker
Ability to perform well without close supervision
Working knowledge of modern office practices and procedures
