Job Summary: The Marketing Coordinator is primarily responsible for actively promoting company visibility and awareness through the coordination of effective marketing activities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Take part in the development and implementation of the brand strategy to raise brand awareness, visibility and positioning hence increasing product/service value in the market.
· Co-ordinate the planning, development and execution of Toyota Uganda’s advertising activities with the advertising agency.
· The incumbent will carry out research on competitive products by identifying and evaluating product characteristics, market share, pricing and competitor activities.
· Manage and monitor the launch & post launch phases of the product lifecycle as well as coordinate memorable customer events that meet quality expectations.
· Ensure regular update of the Company website and track usage of all online communication channels.
· Manage inventory of all promotional materials and marketing collateral.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal Toyota employee should hold a Degree in Marketing or any other business related discipline.
· Past exposure and experience in marketing or an Agency role will be an added advantage.
· Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
