Job Summary: The Marketing Manager will support the Bank through developing and implementing a suitable marketing strategy and initiatives, based on the knowledge and nature of the market that will in turn translate into desired business growth for the bank.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage business development activities.
The incumbent will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Marketing unit including PR, Press and marketing communications agencies.
Manage marketing suppliers including media agents.
In charge of brand evaluation and enforcement internally and externally.
Oversee corporate communications activities.
In charge of fostering community relations strategic CSR initiatives.
Responsible for training and sensitization of staff on products and services.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant for the Equity Bank marketing manager career opportunity should hold a degree in business related field preferably in Sales and/or Marketing from a recognized university.
Applicants with Marketing-specific professional certifications will have an added advantage.
A minimum of five years relevant post-qualification experience in Sales and/or Marketing, preferably in the financial services sector or commercial environment.
The applicant must exhibit strong leadership skills
Strong business awareness
Excellent analytical skills
Excellent communication skills
Good coordination and negotiation skills.
