Aircraft Technical Records Officer – Uganda Airlines

Job Summary:

The Aircraft Technical Records Officer/ Librarian is responsible for keeping all Uganda airlines’ aircraft technical documents and records up to date.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensuring Ugandan Airline’s technical department records and documents are kept current.
Control and Administration of Aircraft Technical Records and library
Systematic filing of the aircraft technical log sheets and worksheets; and proper arrangement of aircraft documents to make location of documents easy.
Processing of the information contained in the aircraft technical log sheets and completed worksheets into the aircraft, engines and propellers logbooks as appropriate
Monitor and update work orders and flight logs in tracking system
Keeping and updating of the aircraft, engines and propellers logbooks
Maintaining a record of compliance for all accomplished Airworthiness Directives and Service Bulletins and other airworthiness information publications
Maintaining other relevant aircraft records and ensuring that they are retained for the required periods
Provision of administrative assistance to the Head of planning including issuing work orders for the aircraft fleet
Completed Task cards are recorded by the into the Maintenance Tracking System
Recording of the aircraft utilization;
Receiving, capturing and archiving of all OEM Supplementary Technical Information
Ensuring maintenance record keeping, in accordance with the procedures and applicable retention periods required by the Authority
Carry out any other tasks as assigned by the Head of Maintenance Planning and Technical Records

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for the Uganda Airlines Aircraft Technical Records Officer/ Librarian job placement must hold an honor’s Bachelor of Science degree from a recognized university
Three years of relevant working experience in maintenance planning and/or aircraft technical records
