Job Summary:
The Assistant Inventory Management Officer will manage the inventory function in compliance with the PFMA laws, regulations and guidelines.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Receive and take charge of certified inventory of stock in the store.
Prepare Goods Received Noted (GRN) for new deliveries to Board’s stores.
Managing of the distribution of inventories to departments/users by ensuring proper requisitioning, receipt and dispatch.
Update stores records on a timely basis
Initiate orders for replenishment of inventories/stationery.
Inspect all procured supplies
Maintain the fixed assets register.
Undertake Annual Inventory Planning
Participate in annual board of survey exercise
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant must hold a Diploma in either Stores and Inventory Management, Procurement, Logistics Management, Business Administration, International Business, or Accounting from a recognized institution,
A Bachelor’s (Honors) degree in Procurement, Economics, Logistics, Business Administration, International Business, Supply Chain Management or similar field will be an added advantage.
One-year experience in stores, warehouse or inventory management related job in a reputable organization will be an added advantage.
