Job Summary: The Cadet Assistant Superintendents of Police (Aircraft Engineer) will support the Air Wing of the Uganda Police Force.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The jobholder will also be planning for and ensuring that the unit aircrafts undergo the requisite regular maintenance/ servicing
They will ensure the preservation of law and order through keeping the unit aircrafts in serviceable condition.
Prepare aircraft for the requisite certification
Perform the duty of flight engineer Perform any other duty as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicants for the Cadet Assistant Superintendents of Police (Aircraft Engineer) job opportunities must be Ugandan citizens who possess aircraft licences A&C
A minimum of three years’ experience with a reputable organization as an aircraft engineer.
Possess no criminal record
Ready to work long hours and at times under difficult conditions
Willingness to work in any part of the country
Excellent communication skills
Computer literacy skills
Be physically / medically fit and able to undertake the requisite twelve months basic Police course.
Ready to undertake additional professional training
Age: Below 30 years

The applications should be filled in triplicate in the candidate’s own handwriting and accompanied by photocopies of academic transcripts/ licenses and national ID, curriculum vitae, three recent passport photos and recommendation letters from LC I, LC III and RDC from district of origin should be delivered in person to the Secretary, Police Authority at the Ministry of Internal Affairs- Jinja Road, Kampala.

NB: Short listed candidates will be invited to undertake interviews at the Police Authority Secretariat, Ministry of Internal Affairs.
