Compliance Auditor – National Social Security Fund (NSSF) – Kampala

Job Summary:
The Compliance Auditor will conduct an accurate reconciliation of employers’ accounts with NSSF and review the employers’ human resource policies with regards to workers’ terms of employment & emoluments paid in relation to their contributions’ records in order to ensure compliance with the NSSF Act and enhance business with the employers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Monitoring and inspection of employers to enable efficient planning for audits.
Planning and commissioning of audits.
Planning, organizing and conducting exit meetings with employers after audits.
Deployment and review of Self-Assessment Tool (SAT).
Follow up on defaulters through visits, calls and mails. Negotiating with them to pay unaudited arrears.
Compiling of daily and monthly reports on compliance activities.
Following up on complaints and whistle blower cases.
Ensure organizational compliance audit targets are achieved.
Referring difficult audited cases to legal for prosecution basing on recommendations of branch managers and giving evidence in court, when required.
Ensuring up to date record keeping (updated dashboard, updated physical/hard copy files, updating share point)
Manage and nurture the relationship with problematic defaulters.
Roll out and implement the “Know your Customer project”.
Engage in audit findings discussions including settlement plans.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The National Social Security Fund (NSSF) Compliance Auditor should have completed Professional ACCA, CFA or CPA qualification.
A good numerical bachelors’ degree preferably in Management, Business Administration or Accounting is an added advantage.
One year of experience in a busy commercial environment.
