Job Summary:
The Data Entry Clerk will perform a variety of general clerical duties. The incumbent will be required to both take direction and work intuitively to support the completion of the different departments’ goals and objectives in a professionally and culturally appropriate manner.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Carry out clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving visitors, arranging documents, and organizing offices/meeting venue;
Create database and/or processes to accomplish tasks;
Establish entry priorities by maintain understanding what need to be entered first;
Enter clients’ data into prescribed database software;
Perform document/candidates’ photo scanning
Check source documents against entered data to ensure data integrity at every state;
Produce automated data entry and integration reports when requested
Prepare statistical reports based on maintained data on a periodic basis.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant must hold a relevant Diploma (in any field examinable by the Board). Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree (in any field examinable by the Board) shall be an added advantage;
Computer literacy skills i.e. conversant with MS office
