Key Responsibilities
• Developing Public Relations (PR) material and other media-relevant documentation to enhance the overall internal (GIZ and BMZ) and external representation of the programme (offline and online).
• Providing general technical programme management support to the Head of Programme with particular focus to M&E and P&R.
• Maintenance of the online impact-oriented monitoring system, ensuring all Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) documents are up to date and valid, and providing M&E related administrative support to the Team.
• Preparation of external evaluation missions and interaction with internal and external stakeholders to complete GIZ impact surveys and monitoring.
• Support in internal and external knowledge management.
• General programme management support.

Professional Competences and experience
• At least 2 years of relevant professional working experience in the WASH and/or refugee and migration sector.
• Experience working in the Development or Humanitarian Sector. Knowledge of online M&E tools and management information systems (MS Teams) and their application within the context of GIZ results-based management framework.
• Understanding and sound experience of using social media in a professional context and developing good content that will lead to increased visibility of the programme.
• Experience working with GIZ in the WASH and Refugee Sector as a Technical Advisor, Consultant or intern will be an added advantage. Other knowledge, and additional competences
• High degree of self-motivation and team spirit in a multi-cultural and inter-disciplinary team
• Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills with ability to motivate colleagues to meet deadlines.

Required qualifications, competences, and experience. Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Water and/or Environmental Studies, International Development, Refugee Studies, Communications, or a related field.
