Job Summary:
A records officer is responsible for safe custody, chronological archiving, retrieving, and managing hard copies as well as soft copies of Finance documents and information.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Archiving the vouchers and other finance documents in a chronological order.
Maintaining the archived records in a safe and secure manner
Preparing documents for scanning and refiling
Retrieving documents for both internal and external auditors
Photocopying documents for reporting projects on “as and when required” basis
Avail records to authorised personnel
Develop and implement a record management system and work procedure
Maintain and update the archives catalogue
Setup a records centre and records management system
Retrieving documents that are required by the Finance team
Filing documents to their respective files after posting in the system
Coding of files according to the filing system of the finance department
Any other related support required by the finance team.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal applicant must hold a Bachelor degree of social sciences, accounting preferable
At least two years in a similar role
