Specific Job Responsibilities:
Creates an atmosphere of inspiration, can-do mentality and safe and supportive environment.
Effective and functional relationships with youth champions.
Provide overall leadership at the Smart up Factory.
Linking Smart up development to other Plan projects, partners and organisation aligned to youth development.
Capacity development of the youth champions.
Safety and control of the Factory premises and equipment.
Tracking youth participation in the Factory and level of satisfaction with the services provided, including Management Information System.
Detailed annual plan and quarterly update plan.
Management of Project Outline.
Documentation of the activities, lessons learned and areas for improvement, including case studies on quarterly basis.
Academic Background, Experience & Person Specifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Adult and community Education, Information Technology, Social Work, Communication or any other related field.
Additional training or expertise in related fields is an added value.
At least 2 years of experience working with projects that includes some innovative approaches.
Excellent children and youth participation skills
Excellent skills in using Management information systems with ability to adapt to new applications
Proven computer skills and track record in using social media (such as FB, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) and producing digital content (such as photos, videos, text)
Ideally the candidate should be familiar with running an innovation HUB, and shared working space
Excellent interpersonal, analytical and communication (verbal and written) skills.
Knowledge in implementation of rights based programming.
Demonstrated skill and experience in report writing and budget management
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work cooperatively with divergent partners
Ability to work with people from diverse cultures, ability to lead and motivate people to work in teams.
Ability to develop synergies and integration of different project.
