Joint Medical Store (JMS) is a Church founded private not-for-profit organization whose mission is to supply medicines, medical equipment and related healthcare services, and training of assured quality to the people of Uganda at affordable prices. It was established in 1979 as a joint venture between the Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau (UCMB) and the Uganda Protestant Medical Bureau (UPMB).

Job Summary: The Transport Assistant will drive or transport safely approved passengers to respective destinations, timely delivery of errands and maintenance of the Company vehicles in safe and clean condition in compliance with Company policies, procedures and the Road Safety Act of Uganda.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicants for the Transport Assistant job should hold an Ordinary Level School Certificate.
· Possession of a Certificate in vocational/technical training preferably in motor vehicle mechanical field.
· A minimum of two years’ experience as a driver in a busy organization
· Possession of a Motor vehicle driving license class C.
· Certificate in defensive driving is an added advantage.
· Detailed knowledge and understanding of the traffic laws and regulations.
