Job Summary:
The Business Analyst/Data Scientist will be responsible for the management and tracking of projects and actions initiated by the CEO’s Office to provide impetus and follow-through to instructions; develop analytics on internal and external scenarios of concern to the business, and prepare presentations and speeches for internal and external executive communications from the CEO’s office. The Business Analyst/Data Scientist will also collect/compile data and/or reports from HoDs, and format/design them for executive presentation.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Being a critical agent for data management, reporting, and presentations
Enhancing the CEO’s presence through high-quality communications to internal and external forums
Compiling and tracking objectives on business strategy to achieve growth and profitability targets as aligned with the CEO’s overall Company strategy.
Tracking and following -up on key Strategic Projects across functions in line with the overall Company strategy and revenue aspirations of the organization
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant must hold a Degree in Information Systems, Data Science, and related fields.
Three to five years of work experience in project management
Two years of experience in a reputable management consulting firm or analytics firm
A deep understanding of corporate governance, project management, and business essentials. Exposure to and high-level understanding of core business functionality including finance, commercial, supply chain, quality, regulatory, and business development
Focus on research, analytics, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to process large quantities of data and filter for relevant information
Ability to generate, seek or source new information that would develop a robust/critically convincing model
Digital dexterity
Interpersonal and networking abilities
Time management, identification of priorities, strong work ethic
Deep understanding of cross-functional business objectives and principles
Written communication
Verbal communication
Analytics insight development
Listening and creation of accurate records
Management of data archives
