DAI Global Health seeks a Gender and Violence Technical Advisor to independently provide technical support services to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in Uganda related to gender and violence-related program activities for an anticipated contract to be funded by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The expected period of performance is 5 months – from March to July, 2018.
The Gender and Violence Technical Advisor must have:
Master Degree in Public Health with a focus on Epidemiology and Global Health
At least five years of experience working with international violence against children surveys
At least five years of experience working with HIV and violence overlap and exposure to gender programming and training
Prior experience working in Uganda (required) and other sub-Saharan African countries
(preferred)
