Key Duties and Responsibilities:
·         Responsible for implementing the construction plan & monitoring progress in respect of time, costs & quality;
·         Guide supervision and direct employees to ensure their compliance with the HSE / Quality Plan;
·         Managing the standard and progress of subcontractors’ work;
·         Execute the construction portion of project plans through detailed planning and day-to-day direction of field activities
·         In charge of promoting a working environment that is safe & healthy & protects the environment;
·         Reviewing contractors’ plans & schedules;
·         Responsible for monitoring construction work for compliance with engineering drawings, design specifications, owner’s standards & statutory regulations;
·         Maintaining and building relationships & contacts, & liaison with the owner’s team in respect of technical issues, specifications & variations;
·         Monitoring & reporting on contractors’ performance;
·         Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as required;
·         Responsible for identifying contract variations, negotiating minor variations or additional work within overall scope
·         Participating in negotiations in respect of scope changes;
·         Ensuring that the highest standards of health, safety & environmental management are implemented; and
·         Developing teams & individual competence.
·         Perform any other duties as assigned by the Manager Construction

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
·         The ideal candidate should hold tertiary qualifications in related discipline
·         At least five years’ experience in a similar role is preferred
·         Proven verbal and written communication skills
·         Ability to provide and accept feedback in relation to role requirements, duties and results
·         Engage confidently and openly with team members, colleagues and clients
·         Request assistance to perform tasks or solve complex issues if required
