Administration and Program Assistant/ M&E – Hoffnungszeichcn

Job Summary:
The Administration and Program Assistant/ M&E will primarily be responsible for executing work related to providing Administrative support for project implementation

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Organizing and carrying out administrative tasks as required to facilitate an efficient working environment.
· Performing specialized and/or standardized processes and activities within the specific
· technical area of work supporting alignment with wider programme and guidelines.
· Providing project management and general office support following established targets and SOH policies and procedures.
· Supporting in proposal development, compiling and analyzing contextual information, humanitarian indicators and needs assessments mostly in Health and Nutrition.
· Collecting and summarize assistance programme(s) data, collaborating cooperating partners where required, conduct analysis and preparing programme receivers and informative decision making.
· Attending stake holders, beneficiaries, partners meetings and assist with determination of necessary project requirements.
· Supporting communication and activities with local partners, agencies, NGOs and Government institutions.
· Assisting in Managing the overall control over project reporting timelines and work plans. S/he will follow with the field teams that the plan for reports submission is respected.
· Performing any other duties requested by Country Representative.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science/Business Administration or Related Discipline. Diploma in Project Management will be an added advantage.
· At least three years of experience in humanitarian sector, prior experience as a program assistant in the relevant field will be an added advantage.
· Proficiency with computer technology and Microsoft Office applications.
· Required qualities: proactive, autonomous, rigorous, organized, good communication and interpersonal skills
· This position requires basic social and leadership skills, as well as technical, organizational and methodological competences, good attention to details with extraordinary ability to multitask.
· Familiar with monitoring and result based management.
· Understanding and good working knowledge with database management System.
· Language: English and Kiswahili preferred
