Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct selection of the farmer groups as per NURI guidelines.
Guide farmer groups in enterprise selection and preparation of production and marketing plans.
Identify training needs and conduct training of farmer groups
Establish demonstrations for hands-on learning
Carry out individual farmer visits to provide tailored advisory service. to each group.
Conduct periodic assessments of progress of farmers and training needs.
Guide farmer groups on marketing activities.
Collect production and marketing data
Distribute inputs to farmers in accordance with established guidelines
Organise and participate in farmer open days
Prepare monthly activity plans and Progress reports

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant should preferably hold a diploma in Agriculture or Crop Production.
At least two years of work experience in agricultural extension.
Technical skills in program planning and implementation.
Fluency in English and a relevant local language. (Specifically Madi)
Basic computer skill i.e. MS Office.
Hold a valid motorcycle riding permit is a must.
