Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Preparing and baking of cakes, tarts and confectioneries under best food preparation standards
· Provide support to other bakers as and when needed.
· Cleaning of working area according to the health and safety regulations.
· Cleaning of equipment and utensils according to the health and safety regulations.
· Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor related to the bakery.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate must hold a Diploma or Degree in a relevant field – Catering, Hospitality, Hotel Management or Food science and Nutrition.
· Applicants with A-level pass in Home Economics, Art or Mathematics have an added advantage
· Previous work experience in baking and finishing (decoration using both butter cream and fondant) is an added advantage
· High self-drive
· Ability to work under minimal supervision
· Age: Between 20-25 years
