Build Africa is committed to its responsibility to ensure that all children are kept safe when participating in its project activities and in its own communications. Further to this, Build Africa has a duty to take action when there are concerns about the safety of children participating in its projects.

The overall purpose of this consultancy is to improve the capacity of key staff within Build Africa to develop and implement effective child safeguarding procedures, including assessing organisational risks to child safety and mitigation strategies, recruitment and induction processes and referral of children to safe and appropriate services.

We are looking for an experienced consultant to run a bespoke training for Build Africa Child Safeguarding Focal Points, who will be fundamental to the improvement of safeguarding procedures and practice organisationally.
