Clinic Services Manager – Kampala – Reproductive Health Uganda

Reproductive Health Uganda (RHU) is a member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation (IPPF), and its core mandate is to promote high quality, high-impact and gender sensitive Sexual & Reproductive Health and Rights information and services through capacity building, specialized service delivery, issue specific advocacy and strategic partnerships.

Job Summary: The Clinic Services Manager will provide technical support and assistance to RHU service delivery division in line with national and international medical protocols to ensure provision of rights based and quality services, in a timely manner

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
· Actively facilitate the administration of respective RHU clinics and other service delivery points, and critically evaluate and promote their efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery
· Significantly contribute to resource mobilization, including developing fundable programmes and proposals
· Provide technical guidance and support on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) service delivery to RHU management and staff
· Ensure standards of Service Care and implement Quality Assurance across the Association
· Work closely with the Logistics Coordinator and other members of management to ensure uninterrupted flow of commodities and services in RHU and affiliated service delivery outlets
· Perform other related professional duties as may be required by the Supervisor(s)

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The candidate must hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from an accredited institution
· A minimum of five years’ experience in Reproductive Health Service Delivery, as well as training and experience in project planning and management.
· Applicants with previous NGO experience will have added advantage.
· Working knowledge of current medical and clinical protocols and procedures is a must
· Working knowledge and skill in offering and facilitating integrated Sexual and Reproductive Health service delivery.
· Skills in resource mobilisation, training, quality of care assessment, supervision, writing and documentation.
· Demonstrated leadership, administration and motivation skill, ability to organize and multi-task, delivering quality outcomes in an efficient and timely manner.
· Ability to work effectively with minimum supervision and under pressure, and skill in coaching, guiding, and building task oriented teams.
