The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is an international non-governmental organization founded in 1933. The IRC is looking for a master trainer to conduct a CEFE training of trainers (ToT) for its staff and partners in Uganda. The Competency based Economies through Formation of Entrepreneurs is one of the most successful methods of teaching business development. It is a comprehensive set of training instruments using an action-oriented approach and experiential learning methods to develop and enhance the business management and personal competencies of a wide range of target groups, mostly in the context of income and employment generation and economic development. It represents an accumulation of instruments for entrepreneurship training combined with active and dynamic approach to work and methods of empirical learning in order to develop and improve managerial and individual skills.
The trainer will prepare and conduct the training of trainers (ToT) course according to the CEFE methodology for 15 – 20 participants in Uganda.
Specifically the trainer will;
Develop customized training materials
Plan and conduct the training
Submit a comprehensive final training reportThe trainer should be a certified/master CEFE trainer with demonstrated experience conducting such trainings to heterogeneous groups in diverse environments. The ToT will be delivered in the English language.
The main deliverable is the activity completion report, which shall include all training materials, attendance lists, and the training evaluation.
The training will take place in Kampala.
The training is planned during the month of July/August 2015.
