Job Summary:
The Copywriter will generate high audience-appeal copy concepts, translate them into copy words, slogans and audio scripts that accompany advertising visuals. Manage the end-to-end production process
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts
Collaborate with Marketing, PR and Customer Experience to develop a variety of marketing materials
Create, edit and proof copy headlines, press releases, web copy, brochures, radio/TV scripts or other related marketing materials
Write high-engagement social media content that reflects our brands’ voice
Produce error-free content that adheres to Vision Groups style guidelines
Develop a content tracking mechanism to verify content compliance with codes of Vision Group and general industry practice
Oversee the production phase, booking and liaising with designers, illustrators, printers, photographers and production
Cast actors, models and voices to appear in advert
Simultaneously manage multiple projects with short deadlines
Demonstrate nuances of social writing, including the use of hashtags, emojis and acronyms
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in marketing, communications, creative design
At least two years of experience in copywriting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office software, including Word, PowerPoint, Communicator and copy writing tools like flickr and copyscape
Experience in producing copy for digital, print and broadcast channels
Highly creative and imaginative
Collaborative and flexible
Great command of the English language – written and spoken
Eye for detail
Exude interest in commerce, popular culture, new advertising trends and techniques
