Country Director – Cotton On Foundation

Job Summary: The Country Director will be responsible for managing and developing the NGO body and delivering upon our KPI’s across the 4-pillars of Education, Infrastructure, Sustainability and Healthcare. The incumbent will build a team of professionals that focus across these 4-pillars at a country level and deliver upon achieving our Ugandan 2020 Vision. The Uganda Country Director will act as a counterpart to the Ugandan Pillar Managers and will act as the liaison and interface between the Australian and Ugandan stakeholders. The Uganda Country Director will be responsible for high standard reporting to the Uganda Project Manager.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicant should hold a relevant university degree, in related area such as project management
· Previous experience with NGO Management
· Broad knowledge and understanding of sustainable production and living
· Strong experience in strategic development and/or project development
· Excellent communication skills/Interpersonal skills
· Ability to liaise with all departments and management levels across Uganda and Australia Ability to react to varying time lines and meet set deadlines
· Extremely organised and effective time management
· Working knowledge and understanding of the Cotton On Foundation Mission/Vision
· Keen attention to detail and accuracy
· Ability to build relationships / partnerships within the non-profit sector
· Intermediate computer skills
· Highly motivated and the ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
· Flair in coming up with new and innovative ideas
· Present all work in a professional manner
· Proven ability to react to varying time lines and meet set deadline
· Open personality and acceptance of all races and cultures is a must
· Ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy
· Open to learning Luganda
