RTI’s International Education Division is supporting education development around the world by strengthening education policy, management and practice in order to achieve measurable improvement in teaching and learning. From our well-established reputation in education system strengthening, to innovative work in early grade assessment and learning, RTI is improving education quality, relevance and efficiency through implementation of projects funded by USAID, DFID, Australian Aid and other donors and clients. RTI International is implementing the Uganda Literacy Achievement and Retention Activity Project (2015-2020).

Job Summary: The Data Management Administrator will develop a system for organizing, managing, and storing program data to allow easy access, analysis, and interpretation. S/he will ensure that all data collected are compliant with contract requirements and legal regulations and work with the M&E Director to customize database applications to meet the needs of the USAID project.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for the USAID Project Data Management Administrator should possess a Bachelors in Statistics or a degree related to Quantitative Research.
Two or more years of relevant experience managing large quantitative data sets, and ensuring data quality, preferably in the field of education.
Detailed knowledge of database design and management, quantitative data collection methods, data cleaning and analysis.
