EngenderHealth is seeking expressions of interest from highly qualified candidates for the following full-time staff position for an anticipated five-year USAID project named, Expanding and Strengthening Family Planning Service Options in Uganda. The following project staff will be based in Kampala providing technical assistance to the Government of Uganda (GOU), civil societies, community-based organizations and the private sector at the community, facility, district, and national levels. The goal of the project is to increase use of equitable, quality and sustainable family planning (FP) services through increased FP service delivery options and demand for modern contraception including long-acting reversible contraception (LARCs) and permanent methods (PMs). Cross cutting themes include gender programing and youth sexual reproductive health (SRH) services. Fluency in written and spoken English is required.

The Deputy COP will support the COP in leading and managing the overall project. S/he must have a Master’s degree in a related field of study with a minimum of five years of experience working in a mid to senior level management or technical leadership position in SRH, gender, or other health-related field. S/he also must have five years of mid to senior level experience in designing implementing and/or evaluating large SRH programs in Uganda. Demonstrated leadership qualities are required.
