Deputy Methods Team Leader – Kampala – Total E&P Uganda

Job Summary: The Deputy Methods Team Leader will serve as the TOTAL focal point for SAP/SALSA and all e-procurement tools vis a vis suppliers.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Analyse:
· In charge of the development and maintenance of a reference supplier database.
· Market indicators by running monthly score cards for selected indicators.
2. Ensure:
· Responsible for the implementation of Contracts and Procurement (C&P) processes and procedures according to the internal Company rules.
· In charge of the deployment of contract management tools.
· Ensure adherence and compliance with the Company’s Health & Safety rules as well as Ugandan laws and regulations.
3. Contribute to:
· Compliance monitoring.
· Updating the Contracts and Procurement website.
· In charge of suppliers’ prequalification improvements.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management
· Professional qualification is an added advantage
· At least three years’ experience in Contracts and Procurement preferably in Methods and Compliance.
· Broad working knowledge and experience in Contracts and Procurement processes and procedures.
· Excellent knowledge of SAP /SALSA is mandatory
· Advanced Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Power Point and Word)
· Previous experience in oil and gas will be an added advantage.
· Excellent report writing, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
