Director Finance and Operations – Kampala – Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative

Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI) envisions “A healthy and fulfilled life for every HIV infected or affected child and his family.” BIPAI strives to provide high-quality, high-impact, highly ethical pediatric and family-centered health care, health professional training and clinical research, focused on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis, malaria, malnutrition and other conditions impacting the health and well-being of children and families worldwide.

Job Summary: The Director, Finance and Operations will be mainly responsible for the overall financial management and administration of the Baylor International Pediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI) program activity.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other relevant field OR a professional certification such as Certified Public Accountant.
· At least eight years of progressive experience in increasing roles of responsibility and oversight of procurement, logistics, human resources, finance, and accounting of large-scale, complex, international programs, including experience in managing donor funded subcontracts/grants
· Strong English written and oral communication skills
