Baylor College of Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda (Baylor -Uganda) is a private not for profit NGO that provides: HIV/AIDS care, treatment and prevention services; maternal child health services; Health Professional training and Clinical Research.

Job Summary: The District Coordinator for the DETECT-Child TB Project will be responsible for monitoring the implementation of systems and procedures to improve the performance of health and community workers in pediatric TB case finding, diagnosis, management and contact tracing in Kabarole District in liaison with International Union against TB and Lung Disease (The UNION)

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicant should hold a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.Ch.B) degree. Possession of a post graduate qualification (preferable public health) and qualification in project monitoring and evaluation or project planning and management is an added advantage.
· The incumbent must also be registered with the Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners Council. A minimum of two years in managing TB related programs/projects preferably in health development, and direct experience with government and donor representatives.
· Past experience in program work is an added advantage
· Excellent team and communication skills,
· Be dynamic, Persuasive and convincing
· Highly self- motivated
· Ability to demonstrate high initiative.
