KSK Associates is a Professional Services Firm that provides Financial Consultancy Services including Assurance and Business Advisory Services, Business Planning, Feasibility studies & Project Proposal Preparation, Human Resource, Risk Management and Information System Solutions. They would like to recruit for a valuable client in the Hotel Industry.

Job Summary: The Front Desk Officer will be responsible for the front office desk/reception and manage both external and internal communications while aware of promoting the image of the Hotel at all times.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the front office desk/reception, including attending to the switch board, guest relations, communications and queries;
Provide technical support in office administration to include general office management, ensuring proper functioning of all office support systems i.e. photocopier, fax machine, telephone, generator etc;
Actively coordinate and facilitate information flow and follow up with the hotel schedule, Administration and Finance for logistics mainly to do with hotel & flight bookings, airport transportation for visitors and consultants’ logistics;
Prepare purchase requests and maintain continuous supply of stationery and other materials for the office, workshops or special events;
Actively distribute/routing official documents to the relevant office staff;
Actively monitor performance of the security personnel deployed at the premises, and regularly patrol and inspect premises such as the compound, fences, recording and reporting any unusual event noticed;
Prepare and dispatch communication, notices to respective stakeholders, institutions and organizations;
Render support in the collation of travel plans on a monthly basis from all staff and arrange support accordingly;
Provide timely support to program workshops and events and liaise with staff and administration department and ensure that all the logistics such as venue, invitation, funds, transport etc are prepared efficiently;
Book accommodation for customers where required;
Manage petty cash for the hotel;
Supervise the Casual labourers in performing duties so as to keep the office and hotel premises clean and tidy;
Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Administrative Officer.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicants for the Front Desk Officer vacancy should possess a good bachelor’s degree in office management, communications, public relations or related field
A minimum of two years’ experience preferably in a hotel environment.
Proven ability to work independently
Computer proficiency skills i.e. working knowledge of Microsoft office.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Good personality and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Language proficiency i.e. Written and spoken fluency in English, Kiswahili.
