Human Resource Manager – CJ Smart Cargo –

Job Summary:
The Human Resource Manager will plan and Manage HR activities such as recruitment, induction, performance management, compensation and benefits administration, and general employees’ welfare services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
In charge of all the human resources management functions for the organization.
· Translate the organization strategy and goals into HR Management plans and communicate to the Management and HR teams.
· Ensure HR best practice -Translate the organization strategy and goals into HR Management plans and communicate to the Management and HR teams.
· Ensure HR best practice across the organization by developing/improving and implementing HR Policies and Procedures that are in line with employment regulations.
· Propose staff requirement plans and budgets to the Executive team.
· Monitor all HR activities and practices to ensure compliance.
· Managing Industrial Relations matters, as well as offering training and general guidance to managers to managers and supervisors on labor laws.
· Plan and implement staff development activities, to ensure that the company has sufficient numbers of qualified staff to meet company requirements.
· Manage employee discipline, ensuring compliance to company rules and regulations, whilst adhering to labor regulations.
· Cultivate an organizational culture that supports team spirit and strong work ethics across the organization by developing/improving and implementing HR Policies and Procedures that are in line with employment regulations.
· To develop, maintain and control an efficient, well organized human resource department, to establish and execute human resource programmes in accordance with policies approved by General Manager.
· Training coordination: (process training funds; communicate necessary updates, Liaise with performance officer to book training/ workshop venues and meals as required) Human Resource Development: planning and coordinating training, education and career development.
· Job organization and information: formulating, reviewing and filing of job descriptions, job specifications, evaluations and organization structure that meets the Company’s objectives.
· Acquisition of Human Resources: HR planning, developing HR policies, manuals and procedures, recruitment, selection screening applications, managing interview processes, and coordinating hiring and firing.
· Human Resource Maintenance: maintaining HR records, including personal files, developing compensation and welfare programs, formulating, applying and reviewing performance evaluation tools, enforcing discipline and ensuring harmonious industrial relations.
· To recommend or advise management for its approval policies and programs relating to the development of staff and other schemes for promoting the greater efficiency of staff.
· Management of the payroll: loans and advances and follow up all recoveries, monitor salary structure and pay rates.
· Coordinate all immigration related matters in liaison with the company lawyers: (work permits/passes/extensions)
· Process all HR related payments (sourcing quotations/proformas from service providers, raising Request to Order, LPO’s and invoice tracking in liaison with procurement and finance respectively)
· Handling Immigration issues pertaining to CJ Smart Cargo – SMC Ltd expatriates through liaising with company lawyers, ensuring that they receive all the necessary documentation to ensure that all expatriates have abided by the immigration law.
· Handling employees’ day to day HR related inquiries and issues. By ensuring resolutions as well as guidance on how to go about various HR issues.
· Facilitate staff travel, including hotel bookings, these include (ad-hoc meetings, CJ Smart Cargo – SMC Ltd guests, board of directors, trainings and all CJ Smart Cargo SMC Ltd functions) by booking of tickets, Venues, accommodation (both local and international) as well as make the necessary per diem payments before travel and all applicable fees e.g. training fees are made in time.
· Any other duties assigned by your Supervisor.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicant must hold an MBA – Human Resources Management with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management/ Industrial Psychology/ Social Sciences / BBA
· At least four years’ of experience in a Senior position in a busy organization.
