Human Resources and Administration Manager – Jinja – NFT Consult LTD

Our client in the FMCG sector seeks to recruit a suitably qualified and competent individual to fill the vacancy above. This position is based in Jinja.

POSITION OBJECTIVE
To ensure complete and comprehensive administration/human resource implementation within the entity as well as following up on relative labor laws.

Manage and implement activities for assigned areas of responsibility and provide effective and timely advice and solutions to line managers on Human Resources and administration related issues.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
Be the first point of contact for all HR-related queries
Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment
Ensure the relevant HR database is up to date, accurate and complies with legislation
Assist in the recruitment process
Liaise with recruitment agencies
Set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence
Pay roll support in liaison with head office.
Providing administrative and any other duties assigned.

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
Very good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a team
Technology skills i.e. proficiency in MS Office
Planning and Organizing skills – work hand in hand with Plant Manager (Tannery) in planning activities of the Plant.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management
At least three years progressive experience in similar role
Experience in FMCG preferred.
