Knowledge Sharing Manager – Kampala – BRAC International

About US:
BRAC International is one of the largest Non-Governmental Development Organizations in the world, working in a number of countries in Africa and Asia on poverty alleviation Programs, is registered in Uganda as BRAC Uganda. The organization implements integrated development approach combining Education, Health, Agriculture, Livestock, Adolescent Empowerment and Microfinance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
The incumbent will oversee and coordinate all program related information, documents, reports for the health program
The jobholder will also analyze program data, information, reports and prepare analytical and critical reports for presentation and dissemination to the health program team as well as to the senior Country Management Team, and share with internal and external parties as needed
Assist liaise with government and partner in activities and maintaining strong network/relations
Advocate for BRAC Uganda Health Program model with all stakeholders with our successes and achievements
Strongly practice and maintain (uphold/conduct) organizational values and objectivity in all activities and ensure other team members are adhering to it through their activities
Develop concept notes, project proposal documents and budgets for new projects

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate should preferably hold a Bachelor’s degree in health-related field, Masters’ degree will be an added advantage
A minimum of two to three years of health-related working experience
Excellent communication skills both oral and written skills with experiences in writing quality health project documents
Excellent skills in preparing dissemination materials for presentations
Excellent people skills and interpersonal skills – demonstrated through experiences working effectively with different stakeholders – Government, donors and NGOs
Ability to motivate, inspire and establish trust among team members, especially partners
Superb analytical skills, report writing, and presentation skills
Excellent computer skills (MS office proficiency)
Ability to work both independently with minimal supervision as well
