As UNDP implements its new people strategy, People for 2030, it will provide improved opportunities for, and better targeting of, learning and development in order to increase organizational capability and effectiveness and drive employee engagement. In order to implement People for 2030, UNDP will develop and implement a learning and development strategy aligned with UNDP’s Strategic Plan 2018-2021. This will also entail an updated governance structure for learning and development at corporate level and the related financial mechanism. The strategy will build upon the following measures:

Ability to design and implement strategies.

Ability to efficiently handle and share information and knowledge

Experience in developing partnerships with think tanks, private sector and research to identify and foster partnerships
Writing and Presentation Skills
Ability to clearly articulate ideas and policy issues in a written format for varied audiences, and strong presentation skills
Required Skills and Experience

Education:
A high-school degree (secondary school) is a minimum requirement.
An advanced university degree (bachelor’s and / or master’s degree) in a related field such as human resources, business management or project management is desired.
Experience:

A minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience (or: a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree) related to the Employee Experience e.g. human resources, recruitment, onboarding, talent and leadership development, career management, talent development, assessments, capacity management, HR Business Partnering.
Experience working with learning management systems and / or technology enhanced learning.
Experience in communications and delivery of webinars to serve a global client group.
Experience in providing administrative support in an international environment required.
Experience in the usage of software packages (MS PPT, Word, Excel, etc.) and advanced knowledge in using MS Office 360, share-point etc.

Language Requirements:
Fluency in oral and written English is required.
Working knowledge of French or Spanish an asset.

Other Additional assets:
Experience working in the United Nations or multi-lateral system.
Experience in a UN country office and/or at Headquarters desirable.
Experience working in talent development desirable.
Project management, adult education, coaching or career counselling certificates an asset.
