About Us:
The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) was established to implement the provisions of The UCC Act 2013 Laws of Uganda with a principal goal of developing a modern communications sub-sector and Infrastructure in Uganda, in conformity with the operationalization of the Telecommunications Policy.

Job Summary: The Manager Planning and Authorization will mainly ensure effective planning, coordination, authorization, allocation of radio-frequency Spectrum management in accordance to International, Regional, national guidelines and the Commission’s mandate

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The ideal candidate for the Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) Manager Planning and Authorization job vacancy should hold a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electronic, Electrical, or Radio Communications Engineering or related field and
· The applicant should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Telecommunications, Electronic, Electrical, or Radio Communications Engineering;
· Membership in a professional body is an added advantage
· At least six years’ experience in spectrum management, Telecommunications sector of which three (3) years should be in a managerial position in similar corporate setting
· Personal Competencies: Spectrum Management, Resource management (resources include numbers, codes, identifiers), Information Management, Research and Development, Communication skills, Good interpersonal skills, high degree of integrity, Initiative and Innovation
