Key Result Areas:
1. Participate in the design and formulation of the Trade Finance’s strategy, policies, procedures and guidelines in alignment with the division’s goals and ensure cascading and implementation of objectives across the team;
2. Establish an effective Business Development & Marketing Plan and monitor their implementation; Underwriting
Verify and support structuring of Trade Finance and Bank Guarantees facilities in line with policy
4. Develop and deliver operational plans aligned with Trade Finance strategy and campaigns to enable delivery against set business targets.
5. Manage collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. co-locating capabilities) and ensure adherence to SLAs
6. Manage, maintain and enhance measurement systems within the sales environment across all regions
7. Develop, measure and review sales and performance targets on a quarterly / annual basis in conjunction with stakeholders.
Keep abreast of the economic context, changes in the business, standards and industry.
9. Business mobilisation, International Relationships for Trade Finance Transactions and Diaspora customers
10. Prepare Trade Finance performance reports
11. Train and hand hold the teams in structuring trade finance and cross selling Trade Finance related products to achieve the bank’s business aspirations.
Qualifications and Experience
1. First University Degree in commerce, business administration. MBA or additional management qualification is an added advantage
2. At least 5 years of practical and progressive experience in Trade Finance role 3 of which should have been at Supervisory level.
