About PREFA:
Protecting Families against HIV/AIDS (PREFA) is an indigenous Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) that was formed to contribute to Uganda’s efforts in enhancing access to quality HIV/AIDS prevention, care, treatment, and support services to families with a historical focus on Elimination of Mother-to-Child Transmission (eMTCT) of HIV.
Job Summary: The M&E Officer will assist the Program Manager in the design and implementation of monitoring, evaluation and reporting systems to ensure PREFA partners are provided with appropriate data supportive of government program and donor reporting requirements.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The M&E Officer must preferably hold a Master’s Degree in Public Health (Epidemiology & Bio-statistics), Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Statistics. Additional qualification in Monitoring & Evaluation is an added advantage.
· Computer literacy i.e. excellent command of Microsoft Office applications.
· Good knowledge of Community and Health System structures.
· Prior experience working with communities
