Job Summary:
The Mobile Library Business Manager will focus on growing the number of users and impact of our Mobile Library Project within the communities we are currently work in and beyond. The Business Manager will oversee our Mobile Library Project execution and drive expansion and sustainability through iterating on new recruiting methodologies to tap families and schools to benefit from the project. The Mobile Library Business Manager will take the lead role on the execution of the following Primary Responsibilities and an assistant role on the following Secondary Responsibilities.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
· Manage, motivate and develop the mobile library team through rigorous performance management, coaching, mentoring and learning interventions to create a team able to deliver the desired mobile library goals
· Work in liaison with mobile library teams in all the mobile library hubs to identify key target segments, challenges and formulate plans to engage and acquire new clients
· In collaboration with the Operations Manager ensure that adequate financial control systems are in place to ensure that all payments that families, schools owe the organization are settled and accounted for in a timely manner
· Identify opportunities for new revenue streams around the Mobile Library Project
· Manage all three Mobile Library hubs books inventories
Secondary Responsibilities
· Work with the teacher training department to ensure timely Implementation of baseline EGRA Assessment among the Mobile Library Users
· Accurately capture individual mobile library customer and user data
· Assisting with Mobile Library Data management
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
· The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in the following fields: Business Administration, Management Science. Required
· Three years of experience in Business Management. Required
· Experience in the Education Sector. Highly Valued
· Leadership experience in the educational sector. Required
· Superior oral and written communication skills in English. Required
· Familiarity with basic computer skills. Required
