RTI’s International Education Division is supporting education development around the world by strengthening education policy, management and practice in order to achieve measurable improvement in teaching and learning. From our well-established reputation in education system strengthening, to innovative work in early grade assessment and learning, RTI is improving education quality, relevance and efficiency through implementation of projects funded by USAID, DFID, Australian Aid and other donors and clients. RTI International is implementing the Uganda Literacy Achievement and Retention Activity Project (2015-2020).

Job Summary: The USAID Project Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Officer will technically support the implementation of M&E tasks and deliverables for the Activity. The incumbent will be tasked to write reports and communicate program results and to improve implementation including: establishing systems for data gathering, reporting and analyzing performance data for impact and sustainability of project implementation; managing data collection processes as required the project’s parameters; developing documentation of best practices and adjust the Activity’s M&E approach; and facilitating the use of data for decision making.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
The applicant for the M&E Officer Job should hold a Master’s degree in Statistics or other relevant degree and three years’ experience or Bachelor’s degree and six years of related experience.
Significant technical experience in managing quantitative and qualitative data collection and analyses
